1 Northern Cottages is situated in the
centre of Beaulieu
on the banks of the Millpond in the heart of
the New Forest National Park. The house was built in 1720 and has been lovingly restored with all modern
conveniences but retains its old world charm and character.
B&B
guests may breakfast on the terrace or in the conservatory.
A full English breakfast is served and most special diets can be
catered for.
The B&B has a magnificent location with
unrivalled views across the Millpond to Palace House, stately home of Lord Montagu. |
|
|
The bedroom, which is on the first floor, has magnificent views from the
window across the
Millpond to the forest beyond.
The B&B is just a few steps across the
road from the shops and tea rooms in Beaulieu and also the
Montagu Arms Hotel with its bar, brasserie and restaurant
(all open to non-residents). |

 |
|
 |
|
Beaulieu Abbey Church is a very popular
wedding venue just 5 minutes walk away.
Palace House and Gardens and the National
Motor Museum with its famous collection of over 300 vehicles
are also within walking distance. This is an
ideal base for wonderful Forest walks, cycling on the numerous
forest tracks, sailing, golf, birdwatching or just site-seeing.
